Please have an answer someone
OK heres my question and I will explain it in a moment. 'Can you get Crabs from sitting on a Toilet seat?'
I ask this because we heard from our school's nurse that October and November is "crab season" (no joke) so that is the reason for the query. the urgency of a response is due to the fact that Myself and everyone I know has now abandoned even the toilet paper ring arround the seat and moved onto squatting which is a chore in those tiny stalls. so the sooner I get an answer to that the sooner life will be slightly happier.
so get a good laugh out of this and then for the love of god let me know what to do.

Always up for info help, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offers advice on this. To make life easy, here's a direct quote from the CDC:
A common misunderstanding is that infestation can be spread by sitting on a toilet seat. This isn't likely, since lice cannot live long away from a warm human body. Also, lice do not have feet designed to walk or hold onto smooth surfaces such as toilet seats.
Ok, now the laughing may commence...
