A BLUSTERY DAY

Pooh bear would have crapped his pants today if he was in castleton. there was such a bad storm today. the wind was so bad it nocked over the powerlines and we were without power for most of the day, it was scarry sitting in the building watching trees almost so bent over that they touched the ground. and then the rain!!! You couldn't see a foot outside your window. It was aweful!! and then the CA had to make the rounds and check on everyone to see what was going on and that everyone was OK. but nothing major happened and life went on and now we are all good.

I am going to work tonight at the Vermont Symphony presentation tonight, which means that I get to get payed to go to sondings. (which for those of you who dont know it is a class a freshmen have to take to graduate you have to watch 6 shows put on by the theater departmant and write 3 sentences about it) easiest class ever!!!!

Ok Now I have to shower and finish laundry before work.

I will try and call people today but I have temporarily misplaced my phone card so I have to look for it. Send me your numbers if you havn't already.

Later

hey it's so weird, but you guys can feel totally cool because castleton always gets stuff a couple days before us. you had the blood drive, then 2 days later we did. you have the VSO and we have it tommarow!!

although we did have another cool thing- former world champion "GO" player- i went to see her give a small talk on how to play.

"Pooh bear would have crapped his pants today if he was in castleton"

Thank you, I snarfed tea with that line. That's a great phrase. It's gotten so cold here! We've had a bit of rain, and the power flickered yesterday. But I think pooh bear and his pants would've been safe in BF.

Laurel, if you learn how, think you could give me a basic lesson in how to play? I've got a GO board at the library, but much like Backgammon, it would be really easy if I could just figure it out.
