people look at you funny
it is now my opinion that people hate the idea of anyone that is majoring in sociology. I went to our school's career fair today and they all gave me weird looks when I aid that I was majoring in sociology. It was really disapointing that they didn't seem to know what to do with me and my major with regards to my major...it sucked. even when I told them about theater too they were kind of put out by that as well not many people thought that was a valad career path either....it was just a very discouraging thing to attend, although I think that I may join the Americorp Vista program.... It sounds like something that I would enjoy.
but I was also looking at graduate degrees and all that good stuff.... I really don't know what to do so I am currently having a freak out about all this shitand I don't know what to do with myself.
I'm getting so depressed right now...but it's only 3 days till break... and 2 more duty nights a botany test and my spanish class and starting on my soc. research project survey hunt for selected participants of whom we only know the name. ;__;
and then I can just shut down for a while and relax for a few days, before I have to study for all my midterms, so after next week expect to hear from me even less then you do now...
this is not going to be much of a vacation....

but just to let you know not all is lost today we had a lovely discussion in Botany about Easter Island... at which mention I began to sing the song and I was happy for the rest of the class.

I completely forgot about the career fair being today! I mean, it's not like there were literally dozens of signs posted everywhere or anything.

Sociology majors here don't get that bad a wrap. (They are the second most celebrated-- it's the chem majors who get dumped on.) And screw 'em anyway. You don't need their approval to live.
